- Feel like a princess in your own carriage!
Start the day with a romantic tour in a horse-drawn carriage to explore the beautiful city of Malaga and it’s most important monuments. In this method, you can admire the beauty of the Cathedral of Malaga and pass Plaza de la Merced, birth-place of the world famous artist Pablo Picasso. Furthermore, you can go on foot to Gibralfaro and the Alcazaba, one of the Moorish fortresses in the city. From here, you can see the incredible Teatro Romano. In total, this is a tour where you experience the Muslim, Roman and Renaissance cultural influences that has been incorporated into Malaga.
- A meal made with love!
The Spanish people love to eat and especially … good food. During your romantic weekend in Malaga, the Mercado Central de Atarazanas offers you and your partner a wide range of aromas, colors, and flavors. Or enjoy the gastronomy in one of the many bars with a view of sea. Small tip for a delicious evening: try ‘el vino moscatel’, a sweet region wine, in combination with a good Spanish tapa.
- Art for everyone!
If you are an art lover, you are at the right place. As you already know, Málaga is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. Here you can visit the house of the Cubist and admire all his art works. If you have an interest in the Spanish art of the nineteenth century, you certainly have to visit the museum Carmen Thyssen, which shows you the best painters of that time. If you are more intrigued by modern, contemporary and avant-garde art, the Pompidou Center and the CAC (Contemporary Art Centre of Málaga) will absolutely meet your expectations.
